The Sino-Singapore Chongqing Airport Commercial Management Co., Ltd was established by CAI and its partner in November 2018 to enhance Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport's non-aeronautical business. The airport is a major aviation hub in Western China, and the ninth busiest in the country.
Durgapur Aerotropolis is India’s first privately-managed airport city in the Durgapur-Asansol region of Bardhaman district in the West Bengal state of India. The project, which is CAI’s first investment in an airport development project in India, involves the setting up of an industrial park, a logistics hub and an IT park with supporting infrastructure such as housing, tourism, healthcare and social interchange facilities.
CAI and its partners won the 25-year concession to operate and maintain Clark International Airport in the Philippines in December 2018. The consortium, through the operating company, Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) Corporation, will develop Clark International Airport into the next premier gateway for North and Central Luzon.
CAI signed a joint venture agreement with its local partners in June 2012 to invest in and develop the airports of Sochi, Krasnodar and Anapa in Russia's Krasnodar region. This marks CAI’s first foray into Russia.
In February 2017, CAI and its partners acquired Vladivostok International Airport in Russia’s Far East. The group is transforming the airport into a leading aviation hub for domestic and international traffic by strengthening air connectivity and passenger experience.
