Singapore Changi Airport – Terminal 4

New Terminal Building T4

Client
Changi Airport Group

Period of Service
2011 – 2017

Project Description
Changi Airport’s newest terminal, Terminal 4 (T4) , welcomed its first passenger in October 2017.

T4 is similar to the other Changi Airport terminals in its simplicity in layout, and intuitive wayfinding. It is also different with its centralised security screening process, and extensive automated check-in options.

Drawing from the experience behind Changi’s past projects, CAI formed part of the team that helped to design T4 to meet the operational needs of both regional full-service and low-cost carriers, complete with passenger-friendly facilities and attractive commercial offerings.

CAI was involved in the project since its inception, from the feasibility studies and development of airport master plan, to the detailed engineering design of the airfield, landside ground transport infrastructure and drainage system. T4 has a capacity of 16 million passengers per annum.
