  Joint Partnerships & Investments  
  Italy  
  Gemina S.p.A.  
  CAI acquired a 5 % stake in Gemina S.p.A., the holding company of Aeroporti di Roma (AdR). AdR owns the concession to operate Italy’s largest airport group, comprising the Leonardo da Vinci Airport and the Giovan Battista Pastine Airport ,both serving the capital city of Rome. This investment marks a major step forward in the company’s strategy to expand overseas as it enters the well-established European aviation market.  
     
  India  
  Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Ltd  
  CAI acquired a 26% stake in the Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Ltd (BAPL) for the development of India’s first privately-owned airport in Durgapur, West Bengal. This will be India’s first Aerotropolis project.  
     
  China  
  Shenzhen Airport Group  
  CAI entered into a strategic partnership with Shenzhen Airport Group (SAC) to develop a portfolio of regional airports across China. The alliance provides an additional platform for CAI to penetrate the dynamic Chinese market.  
     
  China-Singapore Airport Management Academy (CSAMA)  
 

CAI jointly established a premier aviation training academy together with Xiamen International Airport Group Co. Ltd (XIAGC) in November 2003. The academy provides specialised training to personnel from Chinese airports, covering areas such as airport terminal operations, airport commercial and customer service training, ground handling operations and security screening operations. Trainings are conducted in Mandarin to meet the growing training needs of Chinese airports.

Providing operations management services at the airport.
This is a six year management contract.
Areas of work include airport operations and capacity management, safety, security, cargo operations staff development and training, airport marketing, traffic development as well as commercial and retail development.
 
     
  Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates  
  Abu Dhabi International Airport  
 
Managed the terminal, apron, ground operations, customer service and airport emergency service.
Developed and implemented airport facilities, services and operations improvement programmes. Eg. air-con indoor taxi queue system, the first to be introduced at any airport in the United Arab Emirates.
Trained and supervised a team of local managers to manage operations.
 
     
  Moscow, Russia  
  Sheremetyevo International Airport (Terminal C)  
 
Provided management and consultancy services covering Terminal Operations, Retail/ Commercial Management and Service Quality Management for Terminal C.
Implemented a feedback survey system, advised on Route development and created a comprehensive customer-centric program for airlines satisfaction feedback.

  Changi Airport  
 
Provided design services for the resurfacing of the Runway and Taxiway pavements at Changi Airport.
Developed the master plan of Changi East Area between Runway 2 and 3 at Changi Airport.
Provided advisory services on the study of the transportation network and drain diversion system for future development at Changi East.
 
  Seletar Airport  
 
Planned and designed the runway extension and apron parking areas at Seletar Airport. Construction commenced on 4 December 2008 and is expected to be completed by September 2012.
 
     
  Brazil  
  Tancredo Neves International Airport (TNIA)  
 
In 2009, CAI, through its subsidiary, Changi Airport Planners and Engineers, was appointed by the state of Minas Gerais to develop the new master plan for TNIA, located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
IN 2010, CAI was appointed again to prepare the concept design for the new Terminal 2 at TNIA.
 
     
  Brunei  
  Brunei International Airport  
 
Appointed as the owner-advisor to the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), which is the government agency responsible for the upgrading and development of Brunei International Airport.
To assist the BEDB to develop and prioritise the range of refurbishment needed and prepares tender documents for the Design & Build contract.
To carry out project management services during the construction stage, expected to be completed within 36 months from the date of commencement.
 
     
  China  
  Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport  
 
Provided commercial consultancy in 2008 for the new Terminal 2A building of the airport. The commercial space was increased by 30% as a result, thereby improving the revenue potential of the airport.
Provided consultancy services in 2010 to review the passenger flow in new Terminal 2 , so as improve the flow between this terminal and the other terminals and to enhance passenger experience
Provided commercial consultancy in 2010 to raise the service standards and commercial efficiency of the airport. This includes improving retail operations to enhance the image of the airport as a hub status and optimizing its commercial revenue
Provided way-finding consultancy in 2010 to review existing signage system in the airport and develop a complete solution for improving the way-finding experience for all airport users.
 
  Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA)  
 
Reviewed and suggested enhancements to BCIA’s 2003 IATA Global Airport Monitor programme, as part of the airport’s preparation for the 2008 Olympics.
 
  Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CSIA)  
 
Provided consultancy services in 2004 to review the airport retail layout and commercial operations, market research to determine commercial potential, possible product and brand mix, concession management model and rental fee structure.
Provided commercial consultancy in 2007 for the airport’s new domestic terminal, due to open in 2010. CAI was instrumental in the airport changing the security screening layout from a centralized to a decentralized system to facilitate passenger flow and create more prime commercial areas in the terminal.
Provided commercial consultancy service in 2009 to further refine the commercial layout and product mix at the new Terminal 2.
 
  Baiyun International Airport  
 
Reviewed the airport master plan
Customised a senior airport management training programme.
 
  Qingdao Liuting International Airport  
 
Provided consultancy on QLIA's retail layout at its terminal buildings.
Reviewed the retail layout at current terminal and recommended the retail layout strategy for QLIA.
Proposed the retail layout configuration for QLIA's terminals and suggested shop front design and shop fittings.
 
  Fuzhou Changle International Airport  
 
Reviewed the airport master plan for the airport, in partnership with RSP Architects Planners and Engineers and the Singapore Public Works Department.
Furnished the conceptual and detailed drawings for the development of the airports’s new passenger terminal building.
 
  Shenzhen Bao An International Airport  
 
Provided consultancy service in 2009 for the design of the way-finding system of the new Terminal 3 of Shenzhen Bao An International Airport
 
  Taiyuan Wusu International Airport  
 
Provided consultancy in 2010 to Taiyuan Wusu International Airport in the areas of airport commercial and airport signage system.
 
  Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport  
 
Provided consultancy in 2010 to Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport in two areas, one involving airport commercial planning and the other one on operational efficiency and passenger service.

  Durgapur Aerotropolis  
 
Technical study of the airport terminal and development potential.
Review the master plan of the proposed airport.
 
  Nagpur Airport  
 
Secured a technical service agreement (TSA) to develop the Multi-modal International Passenger and Cargo Hub Airport at Nagpur.
The TSA between CAI and Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd. (MADC), involves a three month Airport Improvement Program, which could be extended for a further 9 months. The Airport Improvement Program aims to bring about significant improvements in the operational efficiencies of the existing Nagpur airport.

  Sheremetyevo International Airport (Terminal C)  
 
Reviewed the design & layout of Sheremetyevo Terminal C
Reviewed the layout for the proposed railway station which will provide airport-city link
 
  Vladivostok International Airport  
 
Review and develop a master plan for Vladivostok Airport.
 
     
  Rome, Italy  
  Fiumicino and Ciampino Airport  
 
Formulate a strategy to develop the airport system in Rome and the Lazio Region and help Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A. (ADR) realize its potential as a gateway-hub to Italy.
Reviewed the Fiumicino Airport Master Plan.
 
     
  United Arab Emirates  
  Abu Dhabi International Airport  
 
Provided advisory service on the planning of its new Midfield Terminal Complex, an integral part of the Airport’s US$6.8 billion expansion program.
Reviewed and provided advisory service for the airport master plan.
Developed a concession management plan for the airport expansion programme
 
     
  Aqaba, Jordan  
  King Hussein International Airport  
 
Undertook master planning project for KHIA in Aqaba, Jordan. The project started in Nov 07 and was completed by end of Mar 08.
 
     
  Rwanda, Africa  
  Kigali International Airport  
 
Reviewed the airport’s operations and made recommendations on improvements that will increase the capacity of the airport.
 
     
  Uganda, Africa  
  Entebbe International Airport  
 
Reviewed the airport’s operations and made recommendations for improvements to the airport.
Reviewed the Entebbe Airport Master Plan.
 
     
  Philippines  
  Manila International Airport  
 
Conducted a technical and feasibility study for a new international terminal and associated facilities at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
 
     
  Fiji  
  Nadi International Airport  
 
Reviewed the air traffic forecasts and airport master plan.
Conducted a feasibility analysis of runway extension.
