Changi Airports International Pte. Ltd. (CAI) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Changi Airport Group. CAI invests in airports overseas and also manages airports overseas through management contracts. Senior Associate Director/Director, Legal & Compliance

You will review the legal aspects of commercial proposals for international investments and project development work in the Company. This includes constructing legal templates for the structuring of a project, building relationships with strategic partners and project financing, undertaking corporate secretarial work and instructing and working with external legal advisors.

You will participate in one or more project development work teams of the Company. You have to therefore develop a capacity of marrying robust legal advice with the commercial strategies for marketing, securing and executing a project.

You should hold a good university degree in law, with at least 15 years' commercial experience or practice. Candidates who are qualified to advise Singapore law or UK law are preferred. Strong track records in merger and acquisition and project finance work are pre-requisites for this role. Ability to communicate in Chinese, both written and spoken, is an advantage.

   
Economist

You will provide macroeconomic research analysis for overseas airport investments and consultancy projects. You will analyse the economic, political and other social factors of the countries that the company invests or may potentially invest in or in which the company provides aviation consultancy services to assess the feasibility of the investments or recommend the appropriate solutions to our consultancy clients.

You will develop econometric and statistical models for forecasting macroeconomic trends, traffic growth, airport retail demand and capacity planning. This will also involve devising methods and procedures for data collection and the analysis of data collected. In addition, you will examine aviation policies and regulatory issues, develop positions and responses to proposals in aviation and regulatory policies. You will also be expected to analyse the global aviation sector to uncover new trends in air travel, airport competition and development.

You must have a PhD or Masters in economics and more than 6 years' experience in similar capacity on macroeconomic research building econometric and empirical models. Experience in emerging countries is an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit an econometric model that they have previously built, the analysis and results of such a model.

   
Overseas Airport Manager

Based in a foreign airport, you will assume the key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the airport on a daily basis. This includes all aspects of airport operations such as airside and terminal operations, infrastructural development and maintenance, airport systems and planning, marketing of airport facilities, customer service, baggage and air cargo handling, in-flight catering, aviation security, safety management and airport emergency planning. Additionally, you may be exposed to managing the commercial business of airports in areas like airport retail.

You are expected to work closely with government, international or civil organisations to ensure compliance with all aspects of airport operations, immigration, technical and security matters. You will also work with airport tenants, airport retail groups, airlines and shuttle services to explore commercial potential.

You should have a degree in any discipline from a reputed institution and have at least 4 years of operations experience in an airline, airport, aviation, aerospace or aviation consultancy industry. A working stint in flight or ground operations, air traffic and route development, airport management, retail and commercial management or aviation engineering is preferred. Those with at least 8 years of relevant experience would be considered for team lead roles. Dynamic and driven, you should be willing to relocate on a long-term basis and be committed to anchoring your career overseas.

   
Civil Engineer

You will prepare and coordinate design and documentation for civil (geometry, hydraulic, geotechnical and transportation engineering etc.) and structural engineering projects. You will plan the engineering design and analysis for all civil and structural works and to coordinate and execute matters and issues relating to the engineering construction project. You will interact and communicate with various work teams and clients of the project works and undertake all assignments required in the course of your work.

You should have a BCA recognized degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering with at least 3 years' of relevant working experience. Registered professional engineers with the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore will be favorably regarded. You should be proficient in CAD and other engineering design software and also possess good communication and interpersonal skills. A keen learner yourself, you are willing to share, lead, train and develop the competency of your team members.

This appointment requires candidate to undertake assignment requiring frequent traveling at short notice.

   
Senior Analyst, Risk Management

Reporting to the Director, Risk Management, you will be part of the Risk Management team responsible for risk evaluation of investment proposals and risk management of invested assets. You will work with business development, asset management, valuation, finance and various other specialized units to proactively identify, assess and manage key risks for each project, including design and implementation of risk models, policies and processes.

You should possess a good degree from a reputable university, preferably from a quantitative or analytical field e.g. actuarial, econometrics or business analytics, and have at least three years of either investment or risk management experience in a global investment company, or an operational or project management track record in the aviation, infrastructure or real estate industry. You should also have good analytical, people management and presentation skills.

   
Senior Analyst/Analyst, Corporate Finance

You will be part of our growing collaborative team of airport investment and airport advisory professionals. You will play an important role in providing rigorous and robust financial and economic analysis and solutions related to airport investments, planning and operations. Your primary role is to build financial valuation models, collate and analyse data, make internal and external presentations, support due diligence teams, understand the important drivers of value creation in airport investments and participate in a team to deliver value to clients and investors. You will receive significant international exposure working with a diverse set of projects, partners, public and private stakeholders and clients. You must be able to work effectively with project teams of different disciplines and cultures, often in emerging markets where English is not the primary language.

You should have at least a 2nd Upper Honours degree in Finance/Accountancy/Economics. Having a CFA qualification and three years of related work experience will be an added advantage. You must be analytical, careful, accurate and should enjoy working with diverse teams and challenging environment, and possess a demonstrated passion for excellence in endeavors you have undertaken.

This appointment requires frequent travelling at short notice.

   
Project Manager

You will plan, implement and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. You will prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports or cost tracking reports and also inspect or review projects in compliance to building and safety codes and environmental regulations.

You will prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers or subcontractors.

You should be equipped with a Master or Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Project Management from a reputable university and have at least 8 years of related working experience preferably with an established developer or construction firm managing sizeable projects exceeding $50 millions. You should possess excellent planning and relationship management skills and also exhibit strong ability in negotiation and presentation.

   
Administrative Assistant

You will provide administrative support in the Company such as manning the reception, arranging courier, purchasing of stationery as well as maintaining of databases and filing system. You are also expected to assist in other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned to you.

You should possess a minimum qualification of GCE 'O' Level with at least 3 years of relevant experience in administrative duties. You should be someone who has a pleasant disposition, can work well in a team, able to work with minimal supervision and possesses initiative. Good communication skills and computer skills in MS Office are necessary.
