Changi Airports International Pte. Ltd. (CAI) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Changi Airport Group. CAI invests in airports overseas and also manages airports overseas through management contracts. CAI also runs a very active airport consultancy business, offering solutions in masterplanning, capacity development, operations optimization and service quality. Overseas Airport Manager

Based in a foreign airport, you will assume the key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the airport on a daily basis. This includes all aspects of airport operations such as airside and terminal operations, infrastructural development and maintenance, airport systems and planning, marketing of airport facilities, customer service, baggage and air cargo handling, in-flight catering, aviation security, safety management and airport emergency planning. Additionally, you may be exposed to managing the commercial business of airports in areas like airport retail.

You are expected to work closely with government, international or civil organisations to ensure compliance with all aspects of airport operations, immigration, technical and security matters. You will also work with airport tenants, airport retail groups, airlines and shuttle services to explore commercial potential.

You should have a degree in any discipline from a reputed institution and have at least 4 years of operations experience in an airline, airport, aviation, aerospace or aviation consultancy industry. A working stint in flight or ground operations, air traffic and route development, airport management, retail and commercial management or aviation engineering is preferred. Those with at least 8 years of relevant experience would be considered for team lead roles. Dynamic and driven, you should be willing to relocate on a long-term basis and be committed to anchoring your career overseas.

Overseas Commercial Manager

You will be part of our growing collaborative team of airport commercial professionals. You will play an important role in providing rigorous empirical, financial and economic based analysis and solutions related to commercial planning, management and operations.

By the nature of our business, you will receive significant international exposure working with numerous partners, public and private stakeholders and clients on a diverse set of projects. On practical basis, you will be trained and would be expected to undertake consumer behavior market research and industry benchmarking; create passenger experiences through innovative airport terminal passenger flow; configure commercial layout and product mix planning; build financial valuation models for airport real estate; prepare legal term sheets for Request for Proposals & commercial contracts; track and analyse airport commercial performances against budgets; develop internal, partner and client presentations; provide transactional support on due diligence; build, lead and manage a commercial team within a foreign environment; as well as work effectively with project teams composed of diverse professionals and advisors of various disciplines and interna tional backgrounds to create unique and insightful solutions to key management and operating challenges. Going forward, you will be honed to grow your leadership role in the Company with increasing scope and responsibility, and to contribute even more significantly in building the international business of Changi Airports International.

You should have at least a 2nd Upper Honours degree or its equivalent. Having a MBA/ CFA qualification and between 3 - 5 years of commercial retail and real estate management/ consultancy work experience will be an added advantage. You should have a strong record of leadership in a work or organizational setting, enjoy working in diverse teams and challenging environments, and a demonstrated passion for excellence in endeavours you have undertaken.

This appointment requires frequent travelling at short notice. You must also be prepared to be stationed overseas for between 2 - 3 years as management team of our foreign assets after your initial training program.

Senior Accountant

You will be part of the finance department of an international airport investment and advisory company. You are expected to provide finance support and to monitor performance of associates.

You will prepare monthly financial reports, analyse and explain variances against budget, forecast and prior periods, track key performance indicators and business drivers, analyse trends and highlight anomalies to management. You will also analyse and review annual budget/ forecasts submitted by associates, highlight accounting issues and variations against original investment plan, and liaise with auditors for annual audit.

You will monitor group cash flow, work with banks/Group Treasury to ensure smooth flow of funds and manage foreign currency exposure and hedge accounting. You will liaise with tax advisors on issues relating to capital structure, withholding taxes, permanent establishment and overseas tax matters.

You should possess a good degree in Accountancy from a reputable university with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience - of which 3 years should be in an international external audit firm. You should possess excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and have strong business sense. You should be highly self-motivated with a positive attitude and have an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company procedures.

Senior Analyst/Analyst, Corporate Finance

You will be part of our growing collaborative team of airport investment and airport advisory professionals. You will play an important role in providing rigorous and robust financial and economic analysis and solutions related to airport investments, planning and operations. Your primary role is to build financial valuation models, collate and analyse data, make internal and external presentations, support due diligence teams, understand the important drivers of value creation in airport investments and participate in a team to deliver value to clients and investors. You will receive significant international exposure working with a diverse set of projects, partners, public and private stakeholders and clients. You must be able to work effectively with project teams of different disciplines and cultures, often in emerging markets where English is not the primary language.

You should have at least a 2nd Upper Honours degree in Finance/Accountancy/Economics. Having a CFA qualification and three years of related work experience will be an added advantage. You must be analytical, careful, accurate and should enjoy working with diverse teams and challenging environment, and possess a demonstrated passion for excellence in endeavors you have undertaken.

Senior Analyst, Risk Management

Reporting to the Director, Risk Management, you will be part of the Risk Management team responsible for risk evaluation of investment proposals and risk management of invested assets. You will work with business development, asset management, valuation, finance and various other specialized units to proactively identify, assess and manage key risks for each project, including design and implementation of risk models, policies and processes.

You should possess a good degree from a reputable university, preferably from a quantitative or analytical field e.g. actuarial, econometrics or business analytics, and have at least three years of either investment or risk management experience in a global investment company, or an operational or project management track record in the aviation, infrastructure or real estate industry. You should also have good analytical, people management and presentation skills.

Civil Engineer

You will prepare and coordinate design and documentation for civil (geometry, hydraulic, geotechnical and transportation engineering etc.) and structural engineering projects. You will plan the engineering design and analysis for all civil and structural works and to coordinate and execute matters and issues relating to the engineering construction project. You will interact and communicate with various work teams and clients of the project works and undertake all assignments required in the course of your work.

You should have a BCA recognized degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering with at least 3 years' of relevant working experience. Registered professional engineers with the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore will be favorably regarded. You should be proficient in CAD and other engineering design software and also possess good communication and interpersonal skills. A keen learner yourself, you are willing to share, lead, train and develop the competency of your team members.

This appointment requires candidate to undertake assignment requiring frequent traveling at short notice.

Technical Officer

You will be responsible for the preparation of layout and detail engineering drawings for both civil and structural engineering works using AutoCad. You will also prepare architectural documentation and working drawings using AutoCad and 3D presentation.

You should preferably have 4 years of experience in preparing C&S Engineering Drawing using AutoCAD. You should also possess good working knowledge of MS office suite and Micro station software. A good understanding of Aerodrome International Standards and Regulations would be an added advantage.
